psfMOD 0.9.6.5 - Allows Loading Payloads Via SD Card
I only posted here yesterday about psfMOD being updated to support HTC Hero And Droid Eris, klutsh has updated it again, to support the adding of payloads via SD card and adds an extra payload equivalent to the 'patched mode' of hermes, here is the change log:
*requires gaia manager rc6 or newer Download Desire Download Nexus One Download Evo 4G Download Motorola Droid Download HTC Hero Download Droid Eris Additional Payloads Be very careful with these. Source Thanks to platynumx via FTP for the tip.

 ... This actually doesn't interest me but, I just thought that this could be very helpful in the future. Because sony blocked non sony usb peripherals but they did not block the card readers. So if jailbreak could work through the card readers on 3.41 maybe a new exploit could be done through the readers in version 3.50. But then again it's just a thought

You guys are misunderstanding, its Via SD card on the the psfMOD devices, not on the PS3.

So how to I do I load the payload from the sd exactly? right now I'm connecting to PC and fastbooting in bootloader then on the phone I go into terminal then insmod psfreedom.ko.
What are the steps for using psfMOD and the payload from sd? Thanks. |
