lol
I should have stayed out of it. Now, back on topic, has anyone tried anything other than Gentoo? Wouldn't Yellow Dog or PSUbuntu be better for PPC? Having said that, I heard that Gentoo is EXTREMELY customisable which perhaps is what's needed to make it run. |

Gentoo takes ages to compile, it’s almost like running apt from source and compiling, I am playing around with it, but you can run anything as netboot, however I would like to run ubuntu or DSL from external USB drive. Perhaps chrooting from netboot image is the way to go? But that is really manual and not really an option for every day use, however a nice approach just for testing.

It definitely works, I was the one who wrote the mini tutorial.
I have it working with a P3FREE and a TI-84+ calculator. For now, it's pretty useless. You need to set up a TFTP server just to have a mini-shell. There is no GUI at the moment, so 95% of people won't need it. Keep your eyes open though, there is a GUI on the way! |

Its impossible, most boards don't have enough space to hold asbestos, let alone asbestos plus one of the payloads availble!! # Well..... that is why multiboot/chainloaders were invented because of space constraints nothing is impossible, difficult yes but never impossible! Anyway aside from that comment great efforts you guys, keep it up
