PSN Full Game trick possiblity
Okay, I'm sure this has been discussed before, but after searching the forums, I don't see anyone come out and say it straight so here goes:
Some full version games can be downloaded from the PSN, right? Well, we can get those game files from bittorrent or wherever, like for example, I have thew Warhawk full version game downloaded. So, can we copy those files over to the PS3 and have it think that the game was just downloaded from the PSN Store? If not, how come? Again, sorry if this has been beaten to death, I'm sure there is some kind of encrypted key or something that dpesn't come across whe nthe game is ripped from PSN, but I had to ask! :-)

Gripshift works or worked that way. I've downloaded the full version to my PC from the direct link on PSN someone posted, then did the FAH trick to get it to the PS3 and it installed without a problem.

Are the downloaded PSN games not still in the PKG format meaning that you need to use the proxy to install. Nothing has benen cracked all that has happened is that the link was grabbed and then game downloaded using browser and released.
Most torrent games are released but can't run, as no one has found a way yet.

I think that when you download WarHawk, the key of you console (probably your MAC address, as done on the PSP) is written into the package. Yet again I am not sure is it that way, but I know that it has been done on the PSP - this is my opinion. Again I'm sure it wont work if you install it trough PS3 Proxy.

If that game is not in your list then no go. Warhwak works like this which is why you have to be signed on for it to work. At least I think thats the way it works. I have some more info but its a public part of the forum so that should suffice. ;-)
