When gliitch showed me the video, that was made by a reseller of the device, i immediately said fake, but that's just sceptical me, a couple of minutes later, i noticed other sites were posting the story as news, here is some information on the PS Downgrader, which is brought to us by the original PS Jailbreak team:

Apart from the obvious mistake of downgrading to 3.12 for OtherOS, is it possible that it is true ? And before everyone shouts fake, we all said the same about PS Jailbreak before it was confirmed to be real

I see it for what it is. I guess some people will be happy after upgrading by mistake etc...

i do believe its real for a simple fact they backed their word when they brought out the first mod chip... and now honestly they have no reason to lie to us theyve done us alot of good so i think we should do something in return and tell them thanks instead of being lame people using the word fake against them...

I mentioned this news about an hour ago here.

The update will cost $ 40,- ex $15 shipping costs so in total $ 55,-
It will not jailbreak the newer firmwares but only gives the option to downgrade?
The only option to pay is Mastercard and visa. (don't have one of them, I live in Europe)
There are some strange things about the video. Size of harddisk changes and the jailbreak device looks different in the last part of the video.

The one thing I don't understand is that for downgrading the FW3.50 PS3 has to recognize the psjailbreak device and as far as I understand that option is disabled by Sony with FW 3.42 and higher. Have they found a way to emulate a Jig board so they have access to 3.50 and why can't they use it for jailbreaking 3.50 then.

And for the people trying to say you don't understand how it would work and therefore you don't think its legit, if you did understand then i could only assume you would have come up with the downgrader yourself, but you didnt. so shud upa ya face :thefinger:
