Try this... Run netflix and click sign in everytime it asks you to, but when it tells you to update just hit cancel and wait. Netflix should load like normal and everything should work. It'll ask you to sign in and update a few times but should still work if you just click 'O' cancel. Just confirmed myself...

Kind of odd but works. Better get to watching! I don't see this lasting long now that its in the open.

Edit: I'm not using this exact payload, I'm using the previous no_unauth_341 w/ spoof payload but I see no reason this payload won't work.

That's pretty cool, if ya make a short video or take pics to show what happens + what works or doesn't it'd be good to see. I was thinking, bugs like this or the accident that time someone found themselves in factory/service mode cold lead to more breakthrough's or ways to glitch into them.

Just what I was thinking. Even tho its useless as nothing works, is this not the first time that we have managed to alter the xmb in a non jailbroken state?

If this is a bug, it seems like an important one. I just wish the creators would comment.

I managed to get it fixed. I posted on ps3iso forums and someone said to try to get back into the recovery mode or whatever and re do that. so I did what I did before and purposely froze the unit (Using modern warfare 2) after several attempts i got back into the "Database will be rebuilt" without the jailbreak. And it was back to normal. I dunno what the hell happend but I'm glad I got it fixed.

for any hackers who are risk takers here is my setup.

I am using the iphone hermes+psn+spoof.bin using the openiboot thing. I got a legit disk dump of the Modern Warfare 2 (Ntsc) and running Gaia Manager. Start the game and freeze unit and restart "using jailbreak" and when you get the database will be rebuilt. if you are in jailbreak mode you'll get stuck. Even after restarted the ps3 the dev modes are there, but everything is completely useless. you cannot open any apps or play any games. It's obviously a major glitch and I don't recommend anyone doing it. I don't even know what the hell happend.

Btw it's a phat ps3 80 gig no bc.

I decided to go and risk it again. this time I got a video to show you. Now i'm trying to get out of the mode. So before I do that plz if anyone wants me to do anything let me know. I don't like having my ps3 like this.

so start up nicely, many times.
version spoofed to 3.50, but games not recognized it

i tryed Assassins creed 3 (brother hood), with and without sfo modification.
everytime, i have black screen
i think the spoof is not working

the spoof doesn't mean that you can play those games, you need to follow a tutorial to get the game working.
