A spanish gaming website has confirmed this. They said that X3 TEAM can run homebrew app on FW 3.50, not only that, but games like GT 5 are working like a charm, and it will be released very soon. For the moment it`s only for X3Max usb dongle but my guess is that it will be ported to the other clones. Sorry for my english

This is why I love being a tester for X3! All this new stuff comes along all the time. I also have a few dev boards and a teensy 2.0 ++ that I bought just for the ps3 but the x3 blows them all out of the water. You guys should look into them if your still looking for a dongle. Anyway, I cant wait to see where this goes!

its not a debug console as the jailbreak wouldn't work PLEASE DON"T BE SKEPTICAL ABOUT IT as i said earlier they maybe using PS3 Acid Firmware( cfwprophet) that is why those debug options are there

The only important thing is to not release a 3.50 JB, these are not the first people who has JBed 3.50, and the clue is to wait for a substantial update from Sony before the new JB exploit is released.

I am against releasing new JB for firmware without significant features. 3.42 and 3.50 are just not giving anyone anything new, besides workshipping the "nazism" in the Sony franchise, it would do no good.

As I said earlier alot of people are working on setting the PS3 free, the least thing we want is more work along the way, as somebody stupidly giving away security holes that we already know how to open.

Wow...goodjob! if you freeze frame around 1:28 you can actually see the date that his console is online with its 12/2 5:30pm ish. Also in the beginning he is browsing past the game directories and u see those two special*Folders

feel 3.50 is quite substantial one for a jailbreak- cause it enables 3d movie and it can play gt5

next substantial fw will be the one with google tv update?

The x3max team will most likely hoard this jailbreak for sometime to ensure they make some money.
