This is awesome news! once psgrade gets released we all have service mode access, which i am sure will lead to some great stuff. I don't care if he releases it or not am just happy he is sharing it with the right people.

Sorry but I still remain skeptical. It is impossible to stop dongle makers, as soon as its released they will do it rendering the whole idea of holding it back for that reason moot.

Sony lawyers *will* be mobilising against this, and limiting who knows the key is really just making their target smaller and easier.

Release it, and they can't do a thing about it. Think of De-CSS; how successful might that have been if DVD Jon just said "I found the CSS key." but if he hadn't made it public; it might have been very different today if he had been court ordered to silence.

If the key is public; its over.

Awesome news but he couldn't possibly have foundED the key... I guess he most likely found it (hate to be a grammar nazi but it's at least something to contribute :D)
