As a follow-up to my PS3 Acid CFW XMB XML Hack Pack, today we are happy to announce that we have enabled more PlayStation 3 Debug options in our ongoing PS3 Acid CFW WIP project and posted a video below..

More details about the project, to quote:

We are working on this continously and even in last few hours Cfwprophet and myself have made some great discoveries with regard to Debug options! More news to come so watch this space for more great info about this Custom Firmware for PlayStation 3!

This is a work in progress so any help or ideas you can offer will be gratefully accepted. Big thanks to PSJailBreak team for making all this possible, Hermes and KaKaRaTo for all the payloads, Grimso (you know why!), JaicraB for the Firmloader which is vital at this point.

If we all get together and hack this brilliant piece of technology it will keep getting better and better, who knows where it will stop! Even today there is talk of JailBreak for 3.50FW - WOW! Keep up the good work guys!

I'm prolly more eager for this than service mode, although both are a very good start! Must try playing around with the XML, there are a few tutes around if anyone else wants to try too.

Thank you! I couldn't agree more. I see it as a big joke. I mean NONE of that debug stuff is worth using. None of it does anything that any of us would even bother with. I guess these people need a history lesson on what Custom Firmware really is. Or need to get out from under their rock. Because this thing is far from being cfw. I'd link to a site explaining it but they are all PSP sites. xP If it was CFW since it's a ps3 and ps3's are suppose to be able to play all playstation games, a CFW for ps3 would allow iso's to be played with NO issues, they'd be able to be played off a usb AND the hdd if this was CFW. If this was CFW we would never need the use of ps3 discs to EVER be inside the system just to be able to play a game off the hdd. If this was a CFW people would have made a Cwcheat for it by now. If this was CFW it would be able to play all media type of files. If this was CFW we would be able to install DLC without paying for it and it would work with no issues. If it was CFW we'd be able to play "every" PSN game on there. And what I mean by PSN I don't mean the "default" psn titles I mean the Ps1 games that they release onto the store. Inwhich for the psp version have been uploaded for years. If this was CFW we'd also be able to play ANY import of ps1, ps2 and ps3 games at any time, backups and actual imported discs without it bringing up that rediculous error.
