Hi everyone, my first post, im sick n tired of all the bogus info on youtube and google advising the 3.55 new ps3 firmware has been hacked by x3 and u can just jailbreak it with this device, i know 3.50 has been hacked , can anyone confirm wether them3.55 can be jb by x3max stick, i just ordered one of the new 2gb ones, obviously only programmable by 128, plz ansa

3.50 is not hacked , you just can downgrade 3.50 to 3.41 or lower . Obviously 3.55 is not hacked now .

Hi mate, thanks for the reply although im afraid to say ur wrong about the 3.50 fw, x3 max had sucessfully unlocked this firmware and were able to play backups and other apps, no other clone or manufacturer suceeded in clocking the 3.50 firmware, hence why x3 max is one of the most powerfull usb boards on their, with a massive 128 of hex programmable memory, youtube videos confirm 3.50 was intruded and other forums have confirmed this, but the question here is as 3.55 is a new firmware its only a matter of time before its broken, i wanna b one of first ones on 3.55, ps the new version x3'board also has a built in 2gb flash memory
For anyone that has 3.50 firmware it can be done with x3 jailbreak stick, just buy of reputable dealers, there are only 2 legit ones in uk

3.55 isn't Jailbroken
Neither is 3.50, there is no solid proof that it has, it seems that all this was, is a marketing scheme.

Rasputin u may b right but iv come across other forum posts which confirm 3.50 hack, but i know as of yet 3.55 remains locked, il look into further the 3.50 claim

Masterodin there are tons of tutorials to downgrade, however its not free u have to buy a usb jailbreak key, some workbetter or easier than other, some knowledge is required in order to save ur ps3 from bricking i.e getting f@ked up

Psgrade is free and super easy to use. With literally 0 way to brick your ps3 if you follow instructions. Also 3.50 doesnt seem to have been jailbroken.
