wtf 3.55 fuking Sony, this must be their defence 4 the up comming cfw....
fuk u sony, just when it looked like we would be on the same firmwares as unjailbroken ps3 u fuking update! it looks like it may be sometime before we have PSN access and noticing how sony is responding 2 all this they are really pissed off ching chongs who are about to city wok everyone with city sour pork... in other words they wont go down without a fight! so even if we do get PSN access in the future it doesnt seem like it will last longer than 3-4 days

all the pissin and moaning ive seen in the post for the past few months....can we get online, can we do this can we do that, buy another ps3 for modding...and if you can afford that then, kiss online play good bye and quit pissin and moaning....

okay i read a comment above that says he can still get on Netflix. Can someone please tell me how to get my Netflix to work or redirect me to a tutorial. I appreciate the help in advance.

A security patch eh? Update: It’s out and it’s mandatory — you cannot log in to PSN without updating to 3.55. It’s a mega small update too. Downloaded in mere seconds. Update wisely. Update: So far I’m still able to enter Factory/Service mode with E3 Card Reader (programmed with E3 Downgrade software). Update: But! Before I attempt a downgrade I’ve learned to backup my saved games… Cool, I’m still able to get back into retail mode using the 2nd Lv2diag.self file. Wait! WTF?! GT5 Save Game Lock: Copying Prohibited. I can’t backup my GT5 saves? Weak. Update: Looks like they’ve patched it… You’re still able to put the PS3 in Factory/Service mode; however, step 5 to 10 (referring to the tutorial here) is a no go. The system continues to boot into Factory/Service mode, even with the modified 3.41 PUP and the first Lv2diag.self file loaded alone on a USB drive. Fortunately the second Lv2diag.self works and returns the PS3 to retail mode. This might be good news, because the exploit that wasn't fixed in 3.41 (they only blocked the USB IDs used by the JB devices), and the modifications to the jailbreak that allow it to work in 3.50 will probably still work in the 3.55 version firmware, anyway. I just wish somebody would send me the IDs for the Sony USB Hub that shipped with Move, so I could modify PSGroove with the proper goodies to jailbreak 3.5x

Argh...there is a huge bug in the 3.50 patch; the systems get all crash happy and useless half the time. Sony refuses to fix it, but they are happy to release another new patch without any fixes, just to screw with us. F**k you sony.

Logan 5 Tool Works For PS3 Firmware 3.50 I Am On FW 3.50 Didnt Update to 3.55 as sick of update sh**t. heard about this lg5 tool and thought what the hell id give it a go and seem to not work in beginning then found the winsck.ocx file for win7 and registered that as was suggested then i changed the PS3 internet to use the proxy 8080 and ip of laptop then i press start proxy..
however on first use i tried update and it said i had latest update so i thought yay it worked so when to sign in and got some random error with bunch of numbers but then i saw a box on the LG5 tool that says Firmware update and it is unchecked. i checked it and then i was asked to update when i pressed sign in. i then uncheck the firmware update box (while LG5 proxy still running and started ) then tried to login again and whoola i logged into PSN on 3.50 not sure how long this will be able to do this but i hope for a while till 3.55 gets the downgrade and jailbreak working lol fuc# sony. taken from user on psxscene |
