Repairing files in these directories works fine and only requires a few changes.

I can repair my own blu-ray player to play movies using set offsets, I want to test if the offsets are global.
I've noticed that sometimes it'll work for my console if I just rebuild the dev_flash3 directory, but other times it wont.

I need a fat & slim archive of the above, don't forget to make your xRegistry.sys files anonymous first.
I have files if you still need them, I'll also PM you.

i never downgraded from 3.50 to 3.41 only to 3.15 and then upgraded to 3.41 again.
There are plenty of people who downgraded from 3.50 to 3.15 (it's actually what I did) and lost bluray capability. I don't think the firmware has anything to do with it.

I've been researching this issue constantly in preparation of my own downgrade and it seems the real solution is that, people who can boot to the XMB with no hard drive installed don't lose bluray capabilities, and people who can't do.

So chances are your system was just one of the ones that could boot without the hard drive in. (Haven't tested mine yet because I don't know if booting without the hard drive then reinserting it forces a format.)
