replaced 40gb with 1tb no problem, after initial boot up system asked me to format, no problem but after completing format i am getting the purple screen with that squiggly thing movin around and no menu..i did not back up old 40gb running 2.35 ofw as there was nothing on it i wanted. i did and do have usb fat3 2drive ready with 3.55 ofw and i was under assumption after doing some reading that the system would ask for that...does the os rebuild itself automatically after format or do i need to go back and get system to recognize my usb drive with 3.55 ofw ? when i try to power back off console goes beep crazy like its a no no...tryin to set this up for my kid..i have never played a game in my life..so yeah noob newbie Jr

ok, so i had to go backwards (not uncommon for me)because the 2.35 ofw not sophisticated enough to handle 1tb hd upgrade. so i put the 40gb back in and updated to ofw 3.55 and then put the 1tbscorpio back in and boom...all is good. was a bit concerned on losing option for other os with update but read somewhere that there is a patch that can be added once i have keamw on there ??
