Neither. Unless you're worried about the kids that you probably don't have, or the friend you bought(?) updating your system, then it doesn't mean a damned thing.

You can't downgrade from 3.55 and you can't jailbreak 3.55.

OK first off NCDog you should've read a little and you would have seen your question answered several times. Norain cut back on the flaming a little bit please, there is no need to get rude with other members. How do you know who has kids and who doesn't. Can you guess if I have kids, because if you don't think I have any you are mistaken. Do not flame someone because of grammar or spelling. Telling someone to use a spell check I consider flaming. Not everyone here is perfect. If you have a problem with a particular post, report it. I agree, I do not know what that whole buy a friend thing was about but you do not have to keep bringing it up.

Unless they just turned on your PS3 normally, in which case nothing is spoofed.

I'm sure there are ways of fooling PSN to get online, but don't expect developers to make that available after the last fiasco, when cheating ran rampant online.

It doesn't really bother me too much, either, that people can't jailbreak and get online; not when it brings out the worst in people. Some were too busy racking up kills with their modded data files to actually use PSN for something more useful - buying/activating their PSN content.
