 We need to make a thread on the forums that has the files for different movies for people that do not have access and cant get access to a blu-ray reader. It would be a lot easier than people getting files themselves and probably wont have as many errors ether. PS: I need the MKB_RO.inf file for the Netflix BD disc and G.I. Joe if anyone has those lol. Not that I'm going to downgrade any time soon, but if I would downgrade a PS3 then I should first backup its DRL1 / DRL2 files, then downgrade and copy its DRL1 / DRL2 files back to restore Blueray playback?

Why we keep every mkb_ro.inf file under somewhere and help to people who doesn't have bluray player or last movie watch.

SO what if you downgraded to 3.41 and then discovered you did not have BR playback and tried everything to get it back (before it was discussed here or anywhere) (this includes reformating the HDD, upgrading to 3.55 and so forth) can i stil get my BR back yet if so how

what are the chances of getting this signed for 3.55. or point me to the right tools and ill sign it just dont know where to find the siging tools

Like crackeyes, I downgraded my ps3 to 3.41, saw that there is no available BD playback, then upgraded to 3.55 to try to auto fix the issue. I'm unable to get a external Blu ray disc drive for my comp, and I know that the last movie I played was The Making of FALLOUT : NEW VEGAS. I would appreciate it if anyone can retrieve the MKB value for this movie if possible. And if possible, would geohot's 3.55 offer the same fix as 3.41?

I know this is an old thread, but in case anyone reads here in the future... it is *NOT* the last movie you played.
It is the Movie that has the highest MKB Version, you use DRLGen to find that movie. The DRL files are generated from the data in the MKB on that disk. DRLBackup and DRL Copy are used to backup your DRL files before a downgrade, and DRL Copy are used to restore them after the downgrade. |
