I think that i've seen some kinda of an article some where that they actually are going to release the FTP servers. Daveshooter. And i know that they are against the Pirate games and stuff.

yeah but what u gotta think u cant run a back up just with ftp cos u wont be able to launch the back up

But they haven't released it yet, nor will they.

Don't be to surprised if Sony don't make an offer to Geohot and others, to change sides. It makes me wonder why Geohot is only working on the 3.55 when a good 50% are on 3.50 fw trying hard not to upgrade and loose downgrading.
Don't forget he did say he would like to go and play with the 3 big boys out there..

because ppl want home brew and psn so only ways is to be on 3.55 also KaKaRoToKS has downgraded from 3.55 to 3.41 but hes not relesed it as it got to many bugs annd can brick your ps3 so once hes done that its all good iver way .

Sorry I must of misread somewhere that you can use the PSN when you are still on 3.41 using spoofing and exploits. my bad.
And as for KaKaRoToKS downgrading 3.55 to 3.41 is not true because it dose not work nor will it, so no true 3.55 downgrade as of today.

The only downgrade that should ever work is going to be Kakaroto's downgrade from 3.55 to 3.41. But as the carldenning already said: "hes hasn't released it as it got too many bugs" That's also true. We should wait for the respond that kakaroto should gave us!

nah u cant go in psn on 3.41 only 3.55 so that why geohot is doing 3.55 cfw and for other resons , why bother doing a cfw 3.41 when its already been done , and
