Dude?? haven't you heard!? There is no need for dongles anymore! The ps3 has been hacked to the highest level!! All PS3's can run homebrew now without even needing to be jailbroken first! You can even update to the latest firmware and still run homebrew and backups! Dongles are yesterdays news! There worthless now. And Sony has no way of securing the ps3 anymore because there private keys that are used for signing games and stuff has been found!

well, to make it short, they calculated the private keys from sony HQ which they use to sign games becuase sony made a mistake in the security. The random number that would create the private key was not random and so from only two signatures they were able to do a bit of math on it and BAM craked wide open. People keep asking why dont they just change the key? The reason is, becuase if they do, NOTHING will work anymore. Ever game, every PSN download needs to run using the keys that were found. here is nothing they can do now. PLUS the PSP master key has been found as well! What does that mean? it means that the psp can run stuff now to without needing any cfw!

becuase what this means is, they can sign there home made programs and games and stuff now and when you put in to the ps3, the ps3 will think its a REAL program from sony and it wont reject it. Like it will think its a retail game or something becuase it was signed with the private master key from sony. The reason why people try to hack a console is becuase there code is unsigned and it wont run unless your exploiting it somehow. But with the keys, you dont need to hack anything at all!

You wont need to, the developers will take care of that for us. We just need to wait a bit. So yeah, I say save your cash man. buy some chips and dip and wait for the good stuff to start rolling in soon.
