Kinect on PS3
Given that the Kinect already has open source drivers, and the PS3 is hacked to the point of being able to sign pkgs and, as far as I know, elfs... when can we expect to see the Kinect paired with the PS3?
Also; How hard will both Micro$oft and $ony rage, when it happens? |

of course it has games that work with kinect! well we don't know only time will tell, but since marcan which is involved in the ps3 scene by hacking it and being one of the members from fail0verflow, and also being the first one to hack the kinect, i think in less than 4/5 months we will something useful.

Regardless of whether there are games for it or not... There are not games for PC that utilize Kinect. Right now everyone is making homebrew for it. If we get Kinect working on PS3 (not just recognizing the camera, but knowing what to do with all of the data) then we could have a whole world of opportunities. We may even be able to utilize how Move is seen with the existing PSeye and collaborate the two. Imagine the AR stuff you could do with a camera that sees in 3D and a physical object that it can pinpoint at anytime (from camera AND motion sensors).
