But ermm bear with me.... do i understand this correct ?

Wont that MRTC00003 package install to dev_hdd0\game\MRTC00003\USRDIR ?

Yet i have to copy the content of the USRDIR = whitedata to another directory on the dev_hdd0 other then the game\MRTC00003 dir ?!?!?

I have to transfer the white_data map to /dev_hdd0/FF13GAME/USRDIR/ even though the install packages uses another path !??? Now iam totaly confused ?!?

But i give it a shot thank you !

do this, copy the eboot.bin to c:\cygwin\home\<user>

run
c:\cygwin\Cygwin.bat

type
unself eboot.bin eboot.elf

delete
eboot.bin

type (replace GAMEID with the actual game id)
make_self_npdrm.exe eboot.elf eboot.bin UP0001-GAMEID_00-0000111122223333

let me know if it gives you an error

i just found that fix here and didn't see how to install, it's supposedly confirmed working. but from the looks of it, yeah you create a folder called FF13GAME on /dev_hdd0/

also you don't have to transfer it over, FTP has a function called 'move', it takes less than a second if it's already on the harddrive

The fix i have download for ffxiii will not install giving error code 80029 and something oddly.

Ofcourse i move the content forward and back before i delete through xbm to avoid deleting the whole game .

doing that for some quite a time sighn !!!?

is it possible for you to check the sighing of that package and reup that through megauplaod or something, that must be why it refuses to install i guess !?

no problem, you can sign it yourself by executing cygwin.bat and typing

package_finalize.exe <package>.pkg

(you have to move the pkg to c:\cygwin\home\<user> though)

Ok.. i got that package already from the link you gave me .

Now, do i need to copy paste that package just in the same way titled as it is to c:\cygwin\home\<user>

Then just double click cygwin.bat and type package_finalize.exe UP0001-MRTC00003_00-0000111122223333.pkg .... right?

man, i thought they said and have uploaded a pkg file to get it to work under geohots 3.55 how confusing ****!!

But the darn pkg file wont install on my ps3 !!?

If I may add my 2 Cents if you get stuck at 28% give a second mine finished after I got that the program freezes up for a second for some odd reason.

and if it say's a newer version of this update is already installed or whatever delete your pre-existing Game Data for that game apparently this is the only way to get the package installed

okay I did it all up to the unself eboot.bin eboot.elf
i get perror: no such file or directory exists.
