unbrick maybe?
don't know if this could work but trying to unbrick through usb ports don't work. but could it be possible to take the ps3 hdd out of it connect it to a pc or put it in a laptop and put the files on the ps3 hdd(maybe need to format it first) and then try to fire up your ps3 with the files on the ps3 hdd.

it seems that the bricks is only affecting the phat models with the 256 nand the same way the blu ray was messed up with the down grade. as i have 2 CECHG03 PS3's i think i will hold off for a fix. I do how ever think that if you do not have a PS3 with a 256 nand that it will work for you and there is a good list of working consoles here http://psx-scene.com/forums/f118/fla...-report-76357/ which lists models that are working and after comparing your model to a few posts then you will have some idea, But again it is early days and i would wait for the dust to settle and for updated versions to surface and be tested.
But still good work from waninkoko and allmost all of the bricks are not his fault no matter what people try to say its the fault of people again not reading the entire forum along with other forums for info in to what they were about to do to there consoles firmware. Modding any console is a dangerous thing to be messing with and you should treat it with due care. Most bricks could of been prevented by people learning to post and read on these matters properly as people who just post "it bricked my console" are not helping them selves or other user's, Post's made which have model numbers along with the method that was used to install the firmware help to prevent other people bricking there consoles and serve to quickly find out what is causing the bricking. Also it gose with out saying that if people was to read more they would not have made the mistakes in the first place as i have stated i have 2 console i know for sure will brick, All it took to find that out was about an hour of reading on a couple of forums. If you have been affected by a brick i do have a cheap repair idea why not buy off ebay a PS3 with a broke blu ray drive they can be picked up for £40 - £55 and just swap the drive over from the brick (just make sure you buy the same model number). then strip the brick down and sell it on ebay or the whole thing if you can not be arse'd with stripping the brick down

I got it working on my PS3 Slim 250GB CECH-2004B,
Updated using the Official 3.55 Normal Mode, then updated again using Wanikoko but through safe Mode I copied Fifa 11 to the internal hdd and played without the disc inside, using Rogero Manager v7.8 Have experiences a few glitches, I have loaded quit a few Videos "avi" onto my PS3 Internal HDD, When I scroll through a bunch of movies, Try to mutli Delete some files, or basically switching in and out between the few videos it freezes, cannot reboot, have to take out the cable then boot again from scratch. have tried playing around with the HDMI settings, thought I got a bit lucky, but still not I am using a LG 47 LED TV Model no : 47LE5500 and a Sony STR-K7500SW Amp, The PS3 is connected using a HDMI 1.3a to the Sony Amp, then to the TV Hope this one gets sorted out, Thank you Geohat, Failover Team, Wanikoko, PS3 Hacks/hax Site wbiggy from South Africa |

Then you revert to OFW again, . restart the machine and then apply Waninkoko's . I am done with flashing for a while, I have all I need for now, unless a super-duper revolution comes up, like NGC and PS2 emulators!!!
