I copied my original to the harddrive through Multiman, and when I load it in Multiman it kicks me to the dashboard and I can see the game I loaded in Multiman even though I have a different disc in. I see the game splash screen on the dashboard but when i click on the disc nothing but a black screen for 2 seconds and then back to the dashboard. It has to be something im not doing right because I have tried this on two consoles. Here are my steps:
1. upgrade to original 3.55 (done in recovery)
2. upgrade to kmeaw 3.55 (done in recovery)
3. install lvl 2 patcher
4. install backup manager (rogero, multiman, gaia, ive tried all of these)
5. load game in backup manager
6. once back at the dashboard load bd game
7. click on bd game (that reads as game loaded from hdd)

Has anyone had their kmeaw355 cfw console suddenly not want to output at 1080p anymore? Have been running it fine for months then yesterday I turn it on and this happened. Can get up to 1080i but not p? Any ideas for a fix?

Try to reinstall kmeaw. If this does not work check if your tv is compatible. If not your ps3 is screwed

I didn't get to try that yet but oddly enough its fine as of this writing. If it happens again I'll try that out. Many thanks. Oh, my TV is full 1080p compatible.

I made progress if you wanna call it that. I installed multiman 2.0 and this time when i tried to start game it gave me an error saying something went wrong at the start of the operation. Can anyone help? Im thinking it could be the cfw or the lvl 2 patcher but I downloaded both from xbins. Is there any type of box this would not work on besides the >3.55 fw console?

I'll tell you all I know: I NEVER used LV2 Patcher on Multiman. All I ever did was install Multiman with BDEMU.PKG and it ran perfectly. Reinstall Kmeaw, install Multiman, install BDEMU.PKG and try it WITHOUT LV2 Patcher.

Last multiman (v2.00.01) dont need lv2. Is needs BDEMU.

*as guy said above u need the bdemu pkg

extract it, put pkg on pen drive and install in package files on ps3

another thing with multiman, dont jump straight to latest version, use 1.16 version, u need to install that on ps3 first before u start upgrading to latest multiman
