Before anyone thinks i am trying to discredit Waninkoko, i am not, i think he is a great dev in his own right, i am merely saying that one must thoroughly test something before releasing it to the public, to make sure errors don't happen, i do hope he gets it right this time. |

The header on the news that was posted clearly says "Reports Of Bricks Using It". I saw the post when it was 20 pages deep. There were reports of bricking all over the place. One post was even in huge red letters and people were still trying it. Who is to blame for that?

But once the reports were coming in of bricks any further people who bricked their PS3's have only themselves to blame IMO. |

Obviously the people trying after the warnings, were stupid, but quite a few people had already been bricked by then. |

i feel that the second ver. of Waninkoko's CFW will be revolutionary for these days. i feel sorry for the bricked consoles but every time there is a risk to happen something wrong when u hack/crack something. it's in our hand to take that risk or not. anyway i don't want to complain more and i wish to those guys that lost their consoles for a solution that can fix that in some days.

Dont understand that there are coming CFW's for firmware 3.41.
I got, what seems to be a very stable and working, CFW from Kmaew with Gaia 2.02. All games work so far, no need to edit PARAM.SFO or EBOOT, just backup to HDD and select in the manager. Real question here: What's the use of these new CFW if it doesnt offer new ability's (unlike Rebug)? Anyone? |

To those complaining that it wasn't tested: It was tested, working on his console and his testers consoles im assuming. You can't expect him to have access to every SKU ps3 out there. And for those who do have his CFW working, apparently it works pretty damn well.
ITT: People pissed off for bricking their consoles while trying to pirate games from sony (if it was for homebrew im sure you would stick to geohot). Side note: it was in bold red that it bricked consoles nobody ever reads anything.. just like how theres usually a step by step tutorial yet theres 20 posts with questions on how to do something thoroughly outlined in the OP |

I don't blame Waninkoko for the bricked machines, I blame the people who installed his CFW without caution as soon as it was released. I have high hopes for v2, and if it works, I'll change. Kmeaw is VERY unstable.
