How to begin writing homebrew for the ps3?(Basics) - PS3Hax Network

Alright, so i'm thinking about getting back into developing homebrew. I wrote some homebrew for the psp back in the day, and I want to write some homebrew for the new ps3 scene.

I'm up to date with what's going on with the jailbreak, 3.55cfw ect. I just need to know what language can homebrew be written in? What tools would I need to compile for the ps3?(I hear something about failoverflow?). Etc.

If you have any knowledge on how to write homebrew for the ps3, please post.

Well you can download virtualbox from http://www.virtualbox.org/ then, the people of rebug.me made a nice VirtualBox Image of PSL1GHT u can download from their site http://rebug.me/.
There is a nice tut to get u started overhere: YouTube - PS3 Homebrew Development Getting Started Tutorial!
This is the psl1ght SDK with samples to get u started!
I'm using PKG Toolkit GUI-v1.20(win32) for signing the EBOOT.bin's to get the samples to work on my PS3 with Rebug 3.41E Beta v1.0.1

Thanks man, gonna set up my own ubuntu environment with dev. tools..Now I gotta hunt them down. Anyone else with anything to add?
