i think the only thing we need is for users at 3.56 is downgrader back to 3.55
once back to 3.55 everything is done less work rather than creating rehacking 3.56...

notice how this DUSTIN fool encourage people to Rip their power cord when updating i dont even think this is a safe method of downgrading... has this even proven works?

It's fake bull****, install it if you have to but don't cry of it breaks your console. 3.56 cfw won't happen any time soon, it's way to locked up for that... patience is a virtue and at some point I'm sure it will happen, just not yet...

Again why would you want to show sony how you down grade from 3.56 when as we know there is no point been on 3.56 (unless you did so by mistake), Its better to wait for a new firmware with a new SDK in it to waste the hacks on rather then waste them on petty little updates.

Think of it this way ... Your going to banging party and you take only 1 condom with you do you..

A)waste it on the first plain frumpy looking girl who shows some intrest.
or
B)save it for the worlds most smoking hot babe who arives 2 hours later on

Finaly if you have found your self on OFW 3.56 then please please do not be in a rush to try and downgrade and wait.
Because if you get a wanker releasing a so called 3.56 downgrader that bricks consoles. you will find only the people who could not wait patiently will brick because they rushed in to it before finding out its fake.

Thanks..this is why I try to research befor down loading. I am staying on 3.55
I am hoping to make some freinds here..I maybe a newby, but "loners don't last long" in this area from what I understand.

about the downgrade and all that, well we know how to make them using the same strategy that we used to make the 3.55 downgrade, but its not worth it now... lets wait for a firmware that is worth hacking...

Modded consoles have no place online due to the main reason been that online is what some games devs rely on for there bread and butter while they bring out other games. As its the online elements that make or break a game.

Playing copys/backups on the PC online is frowned upon by alot of PC gamers as PC games do not have fancy firmware updates to bring more security, from my 11 years of serous pc online play i found that most people who download a copy of pc game and like it will go out and buy it just to get the key code to play online. and its this reason alone that games are made for the pc still.

So just think is playing online with backups really worth it, If you like the game that much is it not better to buy it and support the game's devs rather then risk a console ban....thats when you will wish you had went legit online!! there are tons of people on the COD forums wasting there breath protesting a ban

It wont be long before we see games with unique Id codes to make spotting downloaded/shared backups online easyer for sony and game makers to perma ban console form online play mark my words

Do you personally know how to make a 3.56 downgrader? I dont know if its worth making a downgrader for now but i am sure that making a downgrader will help some people who made the mistake to update or others like me. I bought an old used fat ps3 and it has 3.56 fw. And i dont like/play online games at all.

I agree with everything you had said, And couldn't put it any better than what you had.

The main purpose i see for why there is CFW and the ability to backup your game is to keep your disks safe and not worry about the hassle of a constant disk change when you decide to play a different game. The ability to backup the game YOU own is by far legit whether or not you play that backed up game online. Hell i own numerous amount of games and the ones i would keep safe and clean are the ones stored on my PS3 which is only 3 games.

There are people and im sure 100's here do it, They go out hire a game from a local video shop back it up onto there PS3 and return the game they do not own ripping off game developers and the companies that work hard to create the game(s).

I see no reason not to play a legit backup game that YOU own while still being on firmware 3.55 and playing online with that game, I dont see any reason why you should get a ban for that. And how many people have you seen complaining about sony bricking/banning there PS3 for playing a backup online? In my opinion not many.

As for the 2 idiots 'faking' a CFW they can go to hell, As for the people that went ahead and used that FW without waiting for any further news you only got what you deserve.
