I have started to make a remote control system for RS-232 interfaces through PL-2303
I have started to make a remote control homebrew for RS-232 interfaces through PL-2303 based USB adapters; primarily for controlling home cinema devices, the first device to make a controller for is the HDMI KVM switch ATEN VS0801H, when that works I will make for ONKYO receivers.
Anyone interested in participating? In essence there will be a menu hierarchy controllable from the PS3 remote controll that will be able to operate your receiver, anything from MUTE to channel selection. Also some KVM switches has this ability. Tasks
