Has anyone finished FFXIII using a backup manager ?
Hi there,
I'm close to the end of the game in FFXIII, but I get a crash when I get past a door in chapter 12 (12 out of 13 I guess). This is after the transition between chapters 11 and 12 where the >4GB cutscene is played. Has anyone finished FFXIII using a backup manager here ? I'm using the MRTC-00003 version. Thanks ! |

I have the the asian version of the game and i finished it without any problems. the game works on the external but you have to put it on the internal to get all the way through it.

Hmm okay thanks, that's weird... I've already checked my backup a dozen times.
Would someone be kind enough to check the files are exactly the same as mines ? That's pretty easy : here is a .sfv file : http://dl.free.fr/ffaJfsPoA You just have to put it in the same folder as the MRTC-00003 folder (not MRTC00003), install quicksfv (http://quicksfv.org/download.html) and double-click on the .sfv. Quicksfv is a great tool to check your files are right by just downloading a 10KB .sfv file. Thanks ! |

the game needs to be run on internal hd because 1 movie file is bigger then 4 gigs and its at the end of the game so there you have it...

I know but as I said, I'm already past the point where this movie is played. (I switched the game to internal at that point).
I can't get past the door I'm at on internal or external (both crash). |

I think that's a bug that happens even with the retail disc. Go do something else, re-save and try again.

Actually if someone could check the .sfv file I posted that would help, at least I could be sure of what's wrong with my rip... I've already checked it a dozen times...
