i created a folder in psp\game called PS3Jig and then copied all the loose files into there

Im guessing i have done something wrong because my psp says corrupt data when i check the card

Have i put in the wrong location ? am i missing files? anyone tried this and got it working?

that suck for my friend, he's on 3.56 ofw. yesterday he ask me if i could jailbreak his ps3. so if their a way to hack 3.56 ofw, that will be great and thank for the news.

It probably says corrupt data because you probably aren't on a firmware/device combo that supports kernal mode.

no, it says 'corrupt data' because you copied the 'loose files'. those are source files, they're only of use if you can compile them. sadly, nobody thought to post a link to the compiled data in the form of an EBOOT.PBP file.

hi all i have been viewing these forums for quite some and eventually joined

i have run the eboot from psp/game/
now i dont have a blu-ray drive in the ps3 and have been using the blu ray disk bypass firmware currently on geohot 3.55 : )
how it failed for ps3 80gb
1.switch off the ps3 on back
2.plug in psp via usb.
3.run program at psp/game/ps3jig
4.switch on ps3 @ back
5.power on and eject ... (psp runs commands and returns good signs)
6.ps3 boots as per normal aka no service mode

is this because i have no blu-ray drive ...
also is there a way to run games without the ps3 trying to read from the non existant blu ray drive?
i know google is there but it would save me time and id really appreciate the help

This does nothing for me.
It runs, says USB started and registered.
So I turn on ps3 (tried psp in both USB ports)
And it just boots normally. Psp doesn't output anything.

Tried it in both ports whilst pressing on, then eject repeatedly.

Still nothing?
