ok im stuck on step 3 unpacking linux ????how do i unpack the linux.img

google & download daemon tools it basically mounts a virtual drive of the image so you dont have to burn it. a img is basically a iso but another format...

This is just solid, congrats kmeaw! I like others assume this is for 3.55cfw.. I definitely want to try this out, yet my question is, does the lv2-v9 patcher "permanently" patch lv2 or just temp?

Hmm. PS3 gives a black screen after doing step 4. Installing AsBestOS.

you need to wait it will boot but takes a while cause its installing stuff and give no video out put!
