You can eventually use an usb port from an old computer or anything that has an usb port.

There are only a few options...
1.) Buy a replacement USB/WiFi board and install it.
2.) Buy an electrically broken USB/WiFi board and transfer the ports.
3.) Attempt to find original replacements for the ports (good luck...digikey doesn't have anything that looks even close).
4.) Buy some cheap USB ports and wire it up ghetto style.

When I said, "Ghetto Style", I just meant to solder wires where the ports connect to, then run them to some ports that don't fit quite right (something like http://search.digikey.com/scripts/Dk...me=609-1045-ND )...then you would hang it out the side of the case, or maybe mount it internally and glue it in place or something.

lol...then you are not a master solder'r

USB pint outs are WELL documented.

i think the what guy above was saying is to buy a cheap hub, desolder the ports on it, & then resolder them on the ps3....

its not rocket science....also how do you know only the ports are bad & not the back end baord
