We can do what we want with our console but Sony is just trying to keep game manufacturers to keep making games for the ps3. They can't stop what we do with out console but they can stop access to PSN.

Its very sad that sony lost their trust to their customers and so my respect to them. I bought my ps3 60gb in 2007 because i could run linux. After the update i lost this awesome feature and was very angry. Since i have kmeaw cfw running on my sytem i didnt connect to the internet because im afraid that sony could destroy my ps3. Now im very careful and try to use my ps3 without any connection to the internet. Its like a game. I want to run homebrew and sony wants to get the total control of my system. I like this article and i will try to spread the word so sony cant win this game. Thank you for the information..

game devs are not going to leave, just look at the 360 it has a much more saturated piracy market and game devs still make games and they are good games

Don't forget about crap firmware that they dont bake it well. While in FW 3.41(1st release) they "silently" fix it on the 2nd release, as i type, they dont even fix the premature 3.56 (1st and 2nd release) firmware (its 3 weeks already).

I'm trying to get this on the news so word will spread in to mainstream TV watchers. I've been submitting this information in the hopes that more people will hear about this and fight Sony back.

I suggest that if the rest of you value your hacks, you either do the same, or directly donate on his blog. don't be a free-rider and hope for someone else to do it.

Type up a short article and email it to news stations. Chances are, they just want to find any old story so they can take off early, so if you've already done the work for them, they're bound to air it.

Geohot, fail0verflow, and all other ethical hackers rule.
