I think sony has every right to try and protect its business, but this is getting out of hand. they are real ******s, trying to monopolize the game market and trying to force people to do what they think is right. This system belongs to me and the more i see sony trying to heard sheep the i realize that i will never buy another game for thier system ever again. I'm pretty sure i speak for the majority in saying so. Sony is a very rich company, take a break and go sue your families or something, jerks. If there was money in modding ps3's sony would have its grubby fingers out laws or no laws.

EXACTLY.
As they ban consoles then how can people get on PSN to buy things?
If they ban consoles whats the incentive to remove CFW?
Where is the incentive to buy games and give the company that crippled your PS3 more money?

Banning consoles is the stupidest move. They will just lose more money that way.
I use to buy about $100 of stuff from PSN a month and about $200 real disc games a month. No longer. Thats $300 from me a month they can no longer get.
Looks like I'll be buying another 360 with the money I'll be saving and not giving to $ony.

Instead of banning consoles, they should give us a good reason to upgrade to a non hackable firmware.
I would gladly upgrade to a non hackable firmware for Skype. It's already integrated to the PSP so just integrate it to the PS3 and I'll gladly remove homebrew and upgrade.
Also stop removing features. The day I got my first PS3 was great and now its not even half of what it was. It's so crippled. Compare a 60GB PS3 with firmware 3.00 to a slim with firmware 3.56 and you would take the 60GB with 3.00 any day as its got so many more features.

i bought my ps3 in june and only turned it on 9 times to this day only for some updates and to see if psn improved sadly no i have kz2.i play xbox live more because it's fun and the xbox updates actually give you something nice unlike ps3 which givs you more movie apps then x chat = ) i won't be affect by the psn bans .
