PC = cost effective, higher resolution GFX, texture packs, almost all games work (to varying degrees), need to buy an adaptoid or equivalent to appreciate N64 pad feel on PC.
N64 flash card = expensive but 99.99% of games work flawlessly, and the classic feel of hooking that badass N64 to your TV

@DEFAULTDNB
ey mate! Du you know how the Wii fares, when it comes to playing N64 games? I looked into N64 games on the wii briefly, because I wanted the mario party 1,2,3 games on it. I could see they had made a wiiware/wiistore/whatever-you-know version of mario party 2, but not of MP3... Which is insanely unfortunate, as me and my friends' mario party drinking rules is built for Mario Party 3
![]() I could see that there was some N64 emulator on the Wii... Wii64 or so, but I had a harder time actually hearing hands-on experience. Do you know something about how good it is? I have 4 GC controllers. Of course I have, I'm a Nintendo fan. People couldn't kick the Zelda out of me, not even if they tried! ...With that I mean the liking for the zelda-game... Not an actual girly personality or character inside me... |

I did not get a word that you were trying to say, but MP3 works on Wii64 with a little bit of slow-mo on the title screen.

Hey mate ![]() My experience of the N64 emulators for Wii are very singularly played. Wii64 has quite good compatibility, whereas Not64 has better compatibility (launches a few games that Wii64 didn't and has speed hacks), but still basically the same playability. I have played the zeldas, mario64, 1080 (which was slow), waverace, FzeroX, on Wii64 On Not64: Blast corps (wroks pretty well, frame rate is all over the shop!) /banjo kazooie (plays pretty well )/banjo tooie (poor, not worth playing like this).I personally haven't played Mario party 1/2/3 on Wii64/Not64, but I would imagine they run reasonably well based on the compatibility wiki: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Wii64_Compatibility_List its pretty spot on. Code:
Mario Party Some Minor Graphical Glitches. - FB on fixes screen flashes, turn off for Face Lift - Occasional sound distortion. Water graphics missing. Wii64 1.1 Mario Party 2 Some Minor Graphical Glitches. FB on fixes screen flashes Wii64 1.1 Mario Party 3 the game works perfect for but some minigames are slow. FB on fixes screen flashes. Wii64 1.1
Download: http://files.extremscorner.org/wii/a...4/20121109.zip Wii64: http://emulatemii.com/ Download: http://code.google.com/p/mupen64gc/downloads/list I would recommend Wii64 1.1 for MP3 if you are going to give it a go and set frame buffer on (FB) for better results ![]() (also try out each dump of MP3 - like the usa/pal rips and redumps or any updated versions, sometimes you get better results from different versions) Hope this helps.

I knew before even testing wii64 was going to really struggle with Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, No Mercy and Conkers bad fur day which are the games i wished to emulate so I didn't really put it through it paces, however the games like mario 64, Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing and Zelda Ocarina of time run well.
For now I will stick to store versions or use pc or original Xbox for N64 and just hope that one day we can play them on ps3. |

The android versions aren't so bad. Get an MHL adapter hook it up to a tv sync it up with ps3 controller. You can easily make right analog function as the c buttons.

Woa! Thats a lot of research, thanks I had not been able to find any sort of compability list for the emulators... Which was sort of embarassing, since I hate people in here asking questions without having done extensive research :/Thanks man ![]() Nice to see that the games work perfectly That slowdown thing scares me a lot though, but... Nothing to do except checking it out first hand how extensive it is. Thanks <3
