I was referencing the "last month" and the "fully hacked" parts which she said before he came on-screen. Also I didn't assume anything which is what I gather you're saying I did I said "it's possible." The word "fully" implies that he did the work entirely himself which is obvious he didn't, but he might not of heard it.

^ didn't know what happened on twitter, and I didn't say he is NOT seeking fame,
Nevertheless, we've got to understand that that guy started it all, and I hate to see
people bragging while their heads full of hot air, but this guy knows what he is doing and
he has knowledge more or less.

I watched failOverfl0w CCC video & the EPIC Fail security, but you can't deny 99% of
PS3 users who are willing to install custom firmware, wont be able to do anything after
seeing that video, nor they will be able to extract the keys, the keys where released
days after the video, and no one stepped in instead, we've gotta give him some credit.

I am not trying to be biased towards him, nor I am a big fan, just trying to be fair,
and failOverFl0w's work is something we can't neglect, simply it's pure awesomeness.

It's true geohot is an attention whore but he has balls to go up against Sony. You can't say the same for FOF. Yes it was his attention whoring that got him there in the first place but it was necessary because if geohot wins (and I think he will) it will be a win for us consumers and we will have complete rights to the things we purchase with our own money. Yeah he should have gave credit to FOF but he did find the private keys which even they couldn't do and none of them are willing to risk their ass against Sony. In conclusion I respect FOF but if they want the credit then they need to take responsibility and see it through till the end like geohot and fight Sony.

A couple of points people are missing
1. FOF were also sent court papers just like geohot.
2. If he mentions them in a video then the video will be played in court and then what FOF will be in trouble too if the case is won by $ony as this would serve as evidence.
3. If you used someone elses work to do something which could be illegal would you tell the world about it or wait until that person sends you a message asking you why you have not given them credit for their work.
4. GeoHot was probably waiting for FOF to say something instead they complained on twitter Geo seen it and decided to give them credit because they asked for it.
(Who was attention seeking there?) I could understand if Geo said he was the one that done all the work but he never did. The only thing he claimed glory for was his 3.55 jailbreak which he did create himself as a custom firmware .pup and to date he is the only one that has a pup file that installs over the current firmware every other custom firmware is a full flash of the console I think we owe him more than we think, if we ever want him to help the scene again then all this hate has got to stop. Me personally I think hes a bit ****y person but thats it, be nice im sure he will release some real goodies once this case is over just to say :thefinger: $ony.

Credits to FOF GeoHot and anyone else who has contributed to the scene I look forward to seeing more and hopefully when I finish my programming course maybe I could contribute something as well.
