i'm also getting error 80710017, but only if i don't change the console ID, if i do, it gets to the Ban code...

U maybe right or u maybe wrong but this tool is not for Sony's benefit, it is for the consumers benefit. Sony cares for no one and my mind I feel that this is 1 step in the right direction for the revolution. If there was a 2 sides of this rebellion I would pick the hackers side 1 billion percent!
