Well this would all be done if we just tell Sony to let us JB if we won't make back up homebrew. This will once and for all show us if they just want controll or they don't like pirated games. Well, Here's My Idea, I did this to Microsoft. Get your PS3, JB it, :thefinger::thefinger:

what exactly they gonna do with an IP address... block it... thats it... then we change IP simples! unless your on static IP...

if sony use the ip address to come knocking then they are in breach of some MAJOR data protection and if they come here ill see them in court!

some people may have just visited geohot website for info and updates.... dont mean they actually hacked the ps3....

i dont see why sony still doing this when they are in court for breaking the law with the consumer purchase act of blah blah...

After many arguments, I was under the impression, Sony was happy for your own code to be on on a PS3 and run (anything else would be illegal), but by running your own code you will inevitably loose access to PSN, understandable.

The only issue that sony can take a stance on is copyright, Sony already have my name and address, and no doubt linked my ip with that used on this forum, I ran my own code, I didnt play hookie games, but went back to OFW once i satisified myself I could code for console.

Really this data cant be used for anything.

Sorry to quote my own post, but to backup my post, search MIT using ps3, US airforce, Royal Navy, all using linked PS3's as super computers, I am sure there code is not signed by Sony... lol
