loulou its about principles! and he has them! most people don't, he might have lost a great oportunity, but seeing is a great dev he will find other great job opportunities.
And we suspect that this is some way of luring hackers, not actually give them a job koush stay true!

yeah i agree with principles,but even so couldnt he off used this opertunity to be like a kinda spy,,you know and leak all that important info,,then in 6 months time say "f&@k you sony"
anyway Koush if u read this good luck to you and your family,you sure are respected within this comunity and im sure,whatever u choose to do will be the rite thing.. now i wonder if Mr hotz would do the same thing if he was offered an opertunity with SCEA...Time will tell... Tons of respect for turning down the offer, and that he gave the reason!
You know $ony would make him sign all kinds of papers that would limit his ability to do any sort of programming, hacking or developing outside $ony. I see them recruiting as many as they could and then as soon as they sign the papers they would probably terminate them. No system will ever be 100% secure. They only way to combat it is to lower the numbers of educated coders willing to try. |

I think it's just a rumour, or sony didn't know he was a hacker before recruiting him. hackers are not really people you can trust in a big company.

yeah a rumor with a email proof right... and sony know what he does, that is why they contacted, was the job proposal their intention, well we don't know.

poor geohot, he's sued by sony who will hire another hacker

Thats dumb he turned it down, Do you guys really think an egomaniac as George Hotz would do the same thing for "loyalty" B.S. I would of hopped on the in a second. Kouche you should of taken that opportunity and made a **** load of money and a nice career, look out for yourself buddy; not some guy that would throw you under a bus in a split second.
