it's not theft at all.
you purchased the items and it became your responsibility to look after it. if you deleted them, it's not sonys problem.
they allow you to redownload the content at no extra charge as long as you are a PSN member. nowhere does it say they are required to store your payed for content indefinitely.

simple analogy.
in an all you can eat buffet you can go to the counter (PSN) and fill your plate (payed for content) as often as you like but as soon as you exit the resteraunt (PSN) you lose the right to use the all you can eat service.

That was a great analogy, and for that I thank you.

Like he said, it's your problem! Not Sony's!

Nope

No you seem to miss what im saying i was told from sony via email that if you dont accept the new UA that any psn games you have on your system or not wont work and your psn account will be closed aka you can't play the games you paid for i did not erase them from my system they are still on there but sony is saying they will no longer allow me to play them if i dont accept there UA in 30 days. that is like saying if you dont reply to my message im ganna go in your house and take all your games thats stupid. Just because i dont agree on how sony thinks they rule the world and how they want to boss everyone around i can no longer play what i paid for to me that is like theft though i might be wrong thats just how i look at it. Thats like paying for a all you can eat buffet and they say you can only fill your plate one time.

nope, that is incorrect, sony will not deactivate your system with the content already on.
why? because unless you sign into psn, they cant do a thing. they can/will delete you account but can not remove the license that already exists on your ps3.

Just to clarify....

Are your games playable offline?
If so and they are stopping that then Yes, they are not following the rules. If they are online games then, No they are not.

The new terms can only direct what we do with PSN not the PS3 in this case, and even though they have been paid for and used, if by not accepting the new terms they become unplayable then Sony are obligated to give you a percentile refund.

Hope that makes sense and clears it up?

They are playable offline i can play them now. I e-mailed sony via the ps3 website for more information about the UA and i was told that all psn games will not be playable even the ones im playing now that i have on my system like Dead nation i have siren, pain, all the RE games and a bunch more. not sure if i was told wrong by someone working for sony but the way they said was that any and all psn games wont be playable unless you accept the new UA even the ones you already have. Im out of town should get back late tommrow night and ill upload the email as a pdf here so you can take a look at it. maby im missing something but from what i gathered from the email you wont be able to play anything

the license resides on your console, without them illegally hacking into your console or physically coming to your home, they can not remove your data.
if they attempted to do so, they would 100% lose any case worldwide.

I think the important bit is PSN games as that to me means online use only.
