Im intrested in dual boot with OFW 3.60 and later, and CFW 3.55
Than I can enjoin psn and play al my hacked games

there can never be one piece of news with out some one going on about 3.60 . did graf mention 3.60 ofw duel boot no . so stfu and get over it it not going to happen at this moment it would say if he was doing but hes not if your on ps3 3.60fw shouldnt update simple , if u on 3.55 cfw but want psn , well update to 3.60ofw or buy another ps3 other wize stfu about 3.60 cfw and be happy u got and what devs are doing for us for FREE . if u want other stuff that devs are not doing. all i can say is go and learn and make your own stuff other

Well, this would make it possible to boot other OS's at startup before GameOS is booted, so theoretically, 3.60 dualboot is possible, since it's possible to unpack (no real need to repack, I believe).

I'm glad a good Linux for PS3 is on its way

I think I've established enough times on here I don't actually give a monkeys left nut about PSN, but a True dual boot PS3 where it can either run OFW or CFW would be a wonderful thing as the One important fact about that would be that Sony could not do a single thing as even they admit that the hardware is ours to do with as we please, just as a regular PC is ours to run whatever OS we wish on it. I think this is hopefully the first step towards that as current CFW's are basically a modded OFW. Now should I also stfu Carl? lol

im not saying saying it not a good idea and it be good to duel boot 3.55cfw and ofw cos that be great . the point is that 1) this thread is about cfw with linux , nearly every thread goes off topic like is started to 2) any think that comes out eg pkg builder ppl goes on about 3.60 cfw ,3.60this and that , it just gets on ya nerves seeing ppl go on about it when its got nothink to do with the news . im not gunna commet any more on the matter cos i dont want it go ofg topic ne more and yes a few weeks back i read that graf is working on cfw and ofw booting thought thats been posted ages ago must of read it from some other site

Gotta start somewhere as far as dual boot goes
Remember when the wii was cracked and how far that or any other hack has come
Dual boot will eventually work with other fw but sony will figure out a way to spy it and this will start all over again with people saying , I am waiting for 3.61 or 3.7 whatever it will be
