All they did was ask Google to remove the application from the official Android market. You can still download it to your phone via third party sources, and it's not like they're suing anybody. This should have been expected with the launch of the PSP Phone and official PS1 emulation. They're protecting their investments in a perfectly reasonable way.(no, I don't agree with their suing GeoHot, but that is separate from this) I know a lot of intelligent people are a part of this forum but this whiny and ignorant complaining doesn't reflect well on the community at all. I happen to have PSX4Droid-v2 on my Samsung Epic Galaxy S--which is one of the higher-end androids and the emulation is still really choppy. It was never a great deal of fun to play--spent way more time with my SNES and Genesis emulators. It's definitely a neat app, but it's removal from the official* app market really isn't a huge loss anyway. Respect to the devs who made it happen and all, but you won't see me raise hell about it. I'm actually rather curious to see what their Playstation Suite can do--I want a practical PS1 gaming app for my phone. I'll keep PSX4Droid anyway, but I'm not completely opposed to an official alternative just because it means paying money to the people who made the games happen to begin with.

Just a little tipp for all Xperia Play buyers you need only google and a file manager on your Xperia Play than you can install the app via the filemanager.

I hope that could help some people ;-)

Dude, it doesn't matter.

The point is, Sony is exercising power that only our TOP LEVEL Government officials should have!

It is ABSURD to think that they should be able to call up a company, and have a product removed, simply because they don't like it, or it competes with their own product!

That is called,... ANTI-TRUST!

It is a violation of The Sherman Anti-Trust Act of 1890.

I don't know when this is going to happen, but sometime soon, Sony is going to get dealt with.

I don't know by who, or what, but they are just over-reaching now and someone is going to pop them for it.
