That really hasn't stopped them or anyone else in the past now has it? Take for instance that it will really just be another scare tactic and/or money grab. If they can establish that x number of people downloaded it, and then throw a ridiculous lawsuit at each of those people (say claim 100k in damages) and then offer to settle with you for say 3-5k and you have to buy a lifetime subscription to psn+ then they win. You will be scared to have to maybe pay 100k. So then just like GH you settle and they profit and then get to say how amazing psn+ is doing. If you think this is a little far fetched just look into the history books:

In addition to what this website says directv also made people in addition to paying the 3500 have to buy several years of their "platinum" package. The EFF was all over this one too.

It's a political cartoon. People use it every day and they aren't wrong for doing it. Besides, it's the systematic deaths and suffering of millions of people's PS3's. You don't find it disturbing that Sony has pointed their finger at more people during this era of playstation hacking than ever before?
