ok, now I assume it is no Ddos attack, so what other possibilities are there?
The only other thing I can imagine, while I just woke up, is some kind of virus on their PSN network. What a load of old tosh! Just because Sony says they were attacked doesn't actually make it to be the truth.
Sony are the sneakiest bast*rds in history, most people hate Hitler but at least he didn't hide what he was doing. He hated everyone who was better looking, had more than one testicle and sported a better tash than he did! I have a feeling that @TheKevinButler unplugged the PSN Server so he could recharge his jack-hammer rabbit ears 17" anal plug dildo planning to use it on graf when they try to r*pe his a$$ in court. The PSN Down by hackers story will only fuel Sonys defense that all hackers are B*stards. The media is going to be all over this and the Sony fanbhoys are going to cream their pants! While us sceners get shafted in every angle because we believe in a freedom in a console WE paid our hard-earned cash on. We OWN the damn things we should be able to do whatever we damn well please on it. Fuk Sony, Fuk DMCA, Fuk all these bast*rds that try to keep us silent and on a leash. What I don't understand is why they are claiming the network has only been down 2 days, when it was officially shut off more than two days ago, and it wasn't working for online gaming for about a week before that.
Knowing sony and promises, I am starting to suspect that the forever free PSN we were promised is going to go away, and PSN+ is going to be the only way to play online. They will say that this is for security, and their loyal fanboys will say how happy they are to have the chance to pay money to connect to a network with almost no one to play against. Meanwhile, there will have to be a mirror to the OtherOS case...that case is suing for removal of OtherOS; not for removal of the PSN...the next case will sue for removal of the PSN. The only problem with that theory is that it leaves sony little room to remove more advertised features; and what would sony do if not removing features? At that point, they might as well close shop. BTW...I decided to put on GT5P again last night...I've been playing GT5 a lot and I kinda wanted something to compare it with. It refused to start because the network is down...this is the only PSN game I tried with these results...are there others?
