I doubt there were that many people who ever really cared about linux (not that there werent some.. myself included) but that didnt stop them coming out of the wood work last september to use it as their excuse to jailbreak when the only benefit was "backing up" games. ,
Sony have stated that they have 69 m subscribers but seeing as theyve only crossed the 50 mill unit mark I find that doubtful. at any rate if they offered something free for the downtime Ide expect everyone to come out of the wood work to take advantage of it.. especially the ones who say they dont care if the psn ever comes back up.

I had seen some Sony hate since oOs removal but it really has spiked since jailbreaking became available.
But I used to see a whole lot of hate from xbots who would never buy a playstation until they could pirate its games. is there a correlation. I dont know.

"deleted" is probably another way of saying "not transfered".

I still think there own hired super protection Prolexic is the only thing that can bring PSN down. And they are now trying to implant the Prolexic protection service a way better than they did the first time so it can't happen again.

Look at it this way: If you install 2 virus scanners on your Windows the change on a BSOD is very big. If Sony uses their own PSN security in combination with Prolexic security strange things can happen I think. Like going down for a long time.

If Sony keeps on blaming hackers while they are protected by Prolexic they give Prolexic a very bad name. Better is to admit the implantation of their new security was an epic fail and they need to rebuild PSN again with Prolexic in mind at the beginning and leave out their own security that has problems with their new security.
