This may not be Anon. It could be someone planting the file to put them in the hot seat so they can stay low. It could be a single (or small group) person acting alone trying to be some type of "hero". It could be Anon did do this and doesn't want to admit it. Either way Anon is going to get a lot of attention from the FBI and others.

Anon is full of folks who would do this type of thing even if the "leader" didn't agree. From the amount of time I spent in the chat there were two types of people there. Ones who hated Sony's guts and ones who were fanboys. People were always trying to take PSN down the entire time but it was never the "official" target.

hmmmm im not so sure I believe anonymous was behind this. Someone who got fired and was given a 2 week notice could have easily set this up. and it would be convenient to just frame anonymous. this may be a mystery that will never get solved.

either sony is completely lying about every damn thing, or they fuked up and just worrie to much about thier damn gaming, they cant seem to make up thier mind on who did it, first u, then rebug, we said anonymous didnt, and now replies saying that a message anonymous did this? wtf, and sony is firing a shiz load of their sony online employees probrably cuz they closed alot of thier stoes that one day that anonymous did the boycott .sony u are lying wtf is realy going on there

Guys , i just have two things to say . A couple of days ago Sony claimed that it was improbable that any credit info was taken and now the say they don't know . They also said that anonymous wasn't implicated in any way withtherecent attack. Now they say it was them...
Is it just me or does all this sound like bull in order to cover their asses and not get *****slapped with a fine ?!?
Also since they just admitted that credit info could have been stollen , what are they going to say to the courts ? "not our fault"???
Also why did they say to the costumers that they don't delieve any cc numbers were taken, but to the committee they say that it's possible?
I , myself , believe it wasan inside job , and Sony is trying to cover it's ass

I don't think Sony found the file. I believe the FBI did.

It does say they have intent of offering some type of fraud protection for the US but what about other country's? I'm amazed other country's aren't hounding Sony for details. Why is it that only the US is asking questions?
