Woaw I'd say that sony is paying off its bad Karma, earthquakes, lawsuits after lawsuits, and now they have been hacked and PSN messed up so bad it has been down for weeks... It is a sign people; tyranny spearheaded by Big corporation over us simple anonymous citizens of this planet will come to an end. It is an evolution and will lead to revolution. Of course the mass benefits from having an unbridled machine without restrictions and open source model will surpass the rest by far, CFW is great cause it allows you to back up your games !! In the age of the all digital why should we encumber ourselves with cd, dvd, blurays... Media should be stocked on hard drive that is why CFW is ahead of the game... if sony was only focusing on selling ps3 hardware and let people use it the way they want, we will be much better off... But you know what, ill intended greed is the problem. First off games are too expensive, so are movies, music... no wonder we have a whole generation bent on downloading for free from the internet (our wages do simply not allows us to buy all media we care to consume). The way is see it is as a generational gap, baby boomers still in control are holding tight to their own decaying paradigm. Imagine a world with free energy, free flow of information, amazing inexpensive healing methods (it is already there check out : 'MMS' for example) and world wide peace... Because down the rabbit hold that is what is coming for us all anonymous citizen of the soon to be freed world. And not their NWO which is the making of the devil through deception. Our world is about to change as you have never ever seen, allow the process and look toward the future of humanity because as of today we are still modern slaves, a leap in consciousness and we will create a bright blissful new earth that including multiman and 10$ new released video games, imagine how the market will grow. Better sell a million games @ 10 $ than 100 000 @ 60$ if you get the picture. $ony is full of **** too, just like lots of corporate greed we witness everyday.

You know if Sony wanted to look good they could of shut down their japan servers when the earthquake happened. The power companies there were asking people to cut down on power usage so that the systems wouldn't get overloaded. Square Enix shut down their servers when it hit for about 2 weeks.

I realy like ibivibiv's post. There are also many other intellegent posts here. What is this petition I am reading of? I may want to sign on this. I do believe Sony is much at fault here. Anyone who reads these forums here, or on similar sites, has known about the vulnerability of their security and user information. We were warned on like sites long ago. Sony reads this crap. Of course they pay a team, to search through all the hacking forums. Somebody needs to pull together with proof that they were well aware of this, and that they had people on payroll seeing it exploited to the wilds. Nothing was done.
