If you look past the epeen he's releasing information that helps. ANY information can be useful so I welcome it all.

this thread sucks its nothing but a buncha guys whining about not getting QA mode to work - and alot of complaining -seriously there are some other places on the internets where people are actively working on this and trying to get something done and they are making some progress. Ive seen a few good points and remarks here but really it hasnt gone anywhere, and hasnt accomplished anything. I encourage people to pick up some reading material on the subject at hand and begin working if you have not started already, as that is what I am doing. Read it, learn it, love it, Be your own Dev.

I was reading the story of the PS3 so far, and came up to this part:

23rd March 2007 Well known and respected PSP/PS3 scene dev Mathieulh give his opinion on the Paradox ISO Loader, here is a quote from his post on Max Console: Answer from Mathieulh to paradox I have yet to see their exploit in action, so far all they came up with were nice sentences in nfo but no proofs. If the exploit got patched in 1.54, then why don’t they release anything ? It smells more and more like bull**** to me. The way I see it is that if pdx do not release anything within a week, then I will (and probably so will the rest of the ps3 scene) think that this is just a scam in order to promote their group. Everyone knew for more than a week now that EU ps3 came with 1.50, so it could have been long since pdx could have released it, yet I thought “maybe they plan a release for the EU release date” but yet we still see nothing and all we have are useless clues. Either they have something, either they don’t, and if they don’t plan on releasing anything, then they should just not talk about it. P.S. for your intel, both Alex and I now own a ps3, as well as a lot of more hackers, we are all waiting pdx to do the first move and we wont do anything until they show us some proofs. PDX mention Dark_Alex on their nfo, but yet they did not contact him, thus we do not know if pdx’s exploit is real or not, we have waited weeks for it and saw nothing, we have plenty of projects ourselves, and unless a group finds an initial exploit on ps3 it is unlikely that we start working on it. If pdx wants to contact us and show us proof of their exploit working, we would be very glad to see it in action, otherwise I think they should even forget about mentioning Alex in their nfo. We do not have yet anything to do with pdx and we do not want to be associated with a group’s action which does not even think of contacting us.

Look at the bold part of Mathieulh's quote, doesn't look a bit of hypocrisy with every new xploit he finds and doesn't show how to apply it to our actual consoles?.

He better starts doing what he so much claimed to pdx at that time.

Sorry to quote something that is not exactly recent, but I have been busy all day and only just caught up on this thread, but, and quite a BIG but, if Math didn't act like a child continuously then noone would have believed it at all would they?

I disagree with flaming and out and out insults, but for christs sake, the line has to be drawn somewhere even on here. If a person (including me) acts like a child then he should be put in his place regardless of how much he does or does not contribute to the scene.

Personally I am well and truly balled off with everyone running to his defence. I remember a while back when he threatened to leave and eveyone was begging him to stay (I asked him to as well), but in all honesty, I would rather cancel my membership rather than be forced to bite my tongue whilst his sychophants are allowed to build him pedestal after pedestal.

I may be new and have never done anything to my PS3 due to being on 3.60 before I realised this would be a problem. So call me an idiot, but thirty pages of people whining is absolutely rediculous. If you do not like the way someone releases information, get your a** online and research the information to learn to develop. I myself do not have the time nor the inclination to do it for myself, therefore I wait patiently. It has been said that Math needs to grow up, but truth of the matter is that all the whiners need to grow up and either take the time to learn, or just shut the f*** up! Noone that does this owes us anything. They could just make their systems work and never tell a soul! Be thankful for the people that do the work, even if you do not agree with the way they do it. Absolutely rediculous!!!

But one thing has changed since he made that quote, back then you didn't have to worry about Sony sueing you, mind you even if Sony is just sending a legal party to you, it'll cost you money to fend them off, lawyers seldom work for free in civil law (and mostly only when it's a high profile case)..

Heck, this thread should have never been started. Math talks to the people that can actually "do" things with his ideas/discoveries just fine by other means. Without any information provided on how to do the thing he has discovered there really is no point to posting it. After someone of credibility discovers how, just post that info and credit that person and say oh by the way Math said it could be done (or better yet just don't mention that name at all). Quick example thread of why it is better to just post the info when it becomes public with a "how" rather than having anything with Math's name on it and no methodology:
