I am getting the feeling that when the method is finally revealed by some clever spark, you may find it will be a lot easier to QA retail your PS3 via 3.55 or 3.41 firmwares and not the latest ones. So if you are on 3.56+ you may be in for a long wait before you'll be able to do it too (if you can do it that is)
