Smile My Favorite Console!

My favorite console is the PSP. It was and is a one of a kind. For me, it unlocked the true nature of exploiting and hacking for me. It taught me the fundamentals of computers and how some electronics work. It was my most favorite console mainly because it was solely mine and not my brothers. lol

Sega Dreamcast. The PS3 of its time. The brute force in hardware and serious gamers. Also for the sympathy that Sega's legacy died with it.

Post LAUNCH 60GB PS3

The launch 60GB PS3 is my favorite console. I would say, the original PS because of all the great content it had (FF7 & Xenogears is saying enough), but the launch PS3 can play those. With that you get 3 PS consoles which essentially allows you to play back around 20 years worth of PS content all crammed into one futuristic machine. Mine is also hooked up to an HD projector that shoots onto a 118" screen and hooked up to a surround sound system. You also get built in WIFI and bluetooth, 4 USB ports which I use sometimes to charge my iPhone 4 RemotePlay for my PSP. Wireless 6 Axis Dual Shock controllers that also charge by USB. Media Player/Streamer. Upconverted Game & Video. Storage Card Reader/Writer. Internet Browser. Digital distribution (i.e. Netflix & PSN). Online Chatting & Gaming. Demos. PS Move. 3D. Blu-Ray Disc.

Probably a few more obvious things, but I thought I'd get into the juicy stuff.............................

The Hax

CFW
Homebrew
Game Backup
Unbrickable with modchip
Install OtherOS
QA Flagging! (somebody had to throw it in there)
Customizability
Future Development

And last but not least, the scene - for all it's good and evil

Congrats to whoever wins

My Favorite console is the PSP

Not only did it have one of the most wide support of homebrew, it also was the first portable system to revolution the way we see handhelds consoles, with support for music, video, and wifi it was a great system and homebrew just expanded the limitions of the device. It was really one of my favorites, cause alot of the games felt just as good or as close to a home console. my favorite times were playing socom online almost anywhere with my friends.

PS1

I 'm not going to forget the first time I played it on my PS1! If it wouldn't be for it, Final Fantasy VII wouldn't exist... The dawn of a new era...

The best console of all times is the NES...Games back then were not about the flashy graphics, but story, gameplay and immersion. Modern consoles with their 20 buttons on each controller and HD graphics can never give you the feeling that "Legend of Zelda" or "Metal Gear Solid" gave you on the NES.

Once or twice a year we still take it out of the basement and play for an evening.

I loved the Nintendo 64 because it had a huge number of games that my brother, sister, parents and I all loved to play together. There were so many great four-player games like Gauntlet Legends, Conker's Bad Fur Day and "The New Tetris". There were also some good single player games, most of which are getting ported to the 3DS in June, though my favorite was Star Wars Rogue Squadron. Still, the best part of the N64 was definitely its multiplayer capabilities that kept my family playing it well into the PS2's generation.
