If you wish to get the new SHOWTIME in multiMAN (not as standalone) you can delete SHOWTIME.SELF from multiMAN's USRDIR folder and play a video - it will download the latest I recompiled today (2.99.401) with added Windows 1251 cyrillic support.
You can also update your multiMAN to 02.00.01T16 if you're already on 2.00.01 from this link --> http://www.multiupload.com/GAR0SE3I3X. It contains the latest showtime, too. D |

I have nothing but problems with this version and all previous versions. Sound is always out of sync and video jerky as hell. Running on a gigabit network (tested) and the internal player is as smooth as silk. Tested with twonky and PS3MS.
I would love to know what or where I am going wrong with this as this would be one of my top homebrew apps if only I could get it working. Help! |

This player works great, but only when I ftp the mkv's to my internal drive on the ps3. When I try to stream big mkv's (over 8GB) over my gigabit network, the playback stops every now and then. I use windows media player as UPNP server, but I have also tried other UPNP servers like Tvercity and Twonky, but with the same result. I have even tried different routers, but it seems to be a problem with the showtime software for the ps3.
Am I the only one with this problem, do you guys struggle with the same? |
