Mary Bono Mack, Chairman of a United States House Of Representatives Sub Committee should Sony ask the next question:

"Do you think PSN would have been hacked if you didn't remove OtherOS?"

mr. crybaby Kazuo forgets to mention the removal fact but it is just all about "Action and Reaction"

It wouldn't surprise me if Congress knows what the PS3/PSN actually is, let alone OOS.

Even if they did ask the response would be "what is $50,000 in your bank account?". If you must know, yes I think the system is ****ed up.

Even with the help of the FBI it's almost impossible to find the hacker(s) so I'm not surprised. The guy has probably hacked someone's WIFI access (very easy if it's WEP encrypted) and used it to connect to Sony's server. He has also probably used a proxy. So Sony will find an IP address but it's won't be the hacker's IP.

I think that Sony is happy now. Their network is secure and their firmware released months ago remains unhacked because GeoHot capitulated. And on top of that they continue tracking down the hackers like Graf Chokolo

finally, some quality answers. if they would have responded this way in the first place instead of giving a bunch of half assed bs answers, it would not have pissed so many people off. these responses actually have some substance to them.
