This method doesn't work.
That's not to say a method won't be discovered in the future. |

Sorry if I sounded like a d!ck but its like ppl that post useless 3.60 Keys thinking they are contributing. My point is if your a scientist building a rocket and need to figure out complex engineering out and here comes a hobbyist that can't even fire a toy rocket off into the sky and is trying to help the scientist by telling him maybe if you had gun powder to the fuel propulsion it will go higher. I'm not sure if that made sense to you guys, I hope it did. We all like being creative and helping but spamming info you copied from another site and the person who spams this information knows they have no clue what it means and this just spreads ignorance which is a epic fail in my opinion. But again this is just my opinion and you have a choice to respect my opinion or not...

), maybe that is why psx-scene has it in the "PS3 Technical Development" forum and it is heavily moderated with banning if you post anything the mods don't like. I think it is a choice, also based on the level of the users, to not do that here on PS3hax I for myself like it more in a kind of "Open Discussion" way, brainstorming for possible other solutions. In my country we have saying that goes translated a little like this "You'll never know how a cow catches a rabbit".Copy/Paste/Quote other people's posts who are non-devs from other forums should always be verified regarding the info by the poster and also explain where the source is coming from. I totally agree to that. But on the other hand, the scene is still very young and even for me (and i think a real lot of users with me) it is sometimes confusing how the whole PS3 security thing works. Now that is where the devs come in ![]() I also use my "common sense" filter in my brain while reading the posts. Very simple: "useful / not useful". The "not useful" I forget very fast

That is an example of "shooting first and asking questions later". Something you should never do, and something that was very foolish of me to do. I'm embarrassed..
I was wrong, people. Don't pay any mind to my previous post regarding 3.61 QA flagging. |

This kind of discussions can't be opened, in any way! two threads have derailed on psx scene regarding this, we had to move elsewhere, do you know how many "does this work on 3.60?" we got? people don't even care to read the original thread! a thread like this needs to be heavily moderated...
And finally to answer oozic, there are different types of devs, you have programmers, you have reversers, you have people that are really good at creating games! but when it comes to low level programming suck! you also have the oposite (which is less common) there are a multitude of devs in the scene.

If I photo copy a Rembrand painting tomorrow I can't say I am a painter. I just use someone else his work on another format. I compiled 2 programs (demo's to test how to compile) for AROS today, and no, I don't feel like an AROS dev. Just an average user with a little more knowledge and time. After that I killed my AROS install (and compile work) with trying to fix a /home error on my debian install . So I can start again...

Then by your thought we are not devs, also there are little devs in the scene, since most of us modify stuff instead of creating stuff completely from the ground up.
It does make sense what you say, but i have a broader idea of dev, for me its not only those that create stuff from the ground up, but those who mod, it make it do other things, add stuff to it, you get the picture right?
