Formating PS3 HDD in Windows???

How can I formating my 60G PS3 HDD in Windows???
Do I need some special software or how??????
I want to use it in windows (NTFS)
I have changed this wint 160G one.

just plug it in and then boot from your windows disc

then simply right click on the HDD and go format . . .

The problem is that I can't see this PS3 hdd in windows.
My conection is in usb mod like external device because I dont have internal SATA 2.5'' adapter only external (usb)
I have VISTA Ultimate on PC.

get a usb to sata convertor, thats the only way youll be able to connect it . . .

Because he wants to use his 60GB Harddrive as a USB Harddrive, since he got a 160GB Harddrive for his 60GB PS3...

I think I am going to do this also, with the same 160GB Harddrive also, and just carry around a 60GB Hardrive with a SATA to USB Plug-in, ROFL.

Maybe a 3.0 USB Cord that has 4.8 GB/s speed. That would be (Sorry for my language) fücking awesome...HAHA

I solved this problem.
Must connect the hdd directly to the motherboard not in usb mod.
